the ultimate comeback
So... since August 5th.. yikes. That is quite the time gap! I'm not sure if I'll continue this blog thing. I'm not sure if I'm fully into these things but because I love you guys... I guess it wont hurt to post a few times here and there!
In the greatest nutshell...
-Rocky Mountain Project ended
-I continued to live in Calgary until August 23rd
-I sadly left the city and co-workers
-Had an amazing road trip home (3 full days of driving) Erryn and I totally bonded!
-Home: fun and short
-Moved to Waterloo
-Hung out during frosh week with C4C people, met some first years, spoke at CONNECT!
-Started class, switched classes
-Began to get intensely busy it seemed
-Started leading prayer meetings on Fridays, emceeing CHARGE, and started our DG
-Started taking violin lessons again
-Discipleship Group: crazy time trying to get started..finally it did. Thank you God!
-Realized that my program is useless to me now: searching for something else
-Missing Calgary
-Co-op junk starts, continues, and finally just ended with a job in Huntsville
-Realized that I want to switch into Environmental Engineering... scary...sort of
-Confused... so many decisions
-Only a month left of classes, time has gone by way too fast
-Plan: winter in Huntsville (8 days on, 6 days off which =trip to Calgary and other fun places!)
-Again: miss Calgary
-Re-taking highschool courses (crazy, I know!)
-Because of program switch: free summer
-Thinking of Tanzania Project 2007!
-Feels like life is going too fast, trying to keep up!
OKIE DOKIE! That is the uber update! As for today and in the now, I keep wishing I had played hockey more competitively...when I was younger. Playing hockey and playing the bagpipes are two things that I really miss doing. I'm excited to start again..someday!
I chose the Huntsville job for co-op! This means 6 days off at a time (every 8 days) which will provide lots of opportunity to do some travelling. I'm really hoping to make it back to Calgary (not obvious at all that I'd want to return there!)...and I really want to make it to Vancouver...real bad! Vancouver is the last of Canada's major cities that I've been to (excluding the time I spent in Van at the airport ...for a total of like...3 minutes!).
Again, you are all beautiful people!
Peace and Love.
